The Keswick Bikes Workshop is located at the Southey Hill Industrial Estate (behind the Pencil Musem). As an accredited Shimano Service Centre our Workshop is run by qualified (and hugely experienced) technicians and we're fully equipped to deal with your servicing and repair needs.

So, what is a Shimano Service Centre?

The bike you ride is a complex machine with hundreds of moving parts, it needs qualified, professional maintenance to keep it working and safe. Shimano Service Centres are a network of shops with trained staff who will be able to service your bicycle to a professional standard.

Why visit a Shimano Service Centre?

A Shimano Service Centre is at the heart of a highly professional bike shop where you will always find the best quality and service. Each Shimano Service Centre has at least one bicycle mechanic who is trained (or is in training) to the Government endorsed National Vocational Qualification in cycle mechanics.

Each Shimano Service Centre must have a reliable and safe workshop environment which meets or exceeds the industry standard. In order to attain the full qualification Keswick Bikes staff have demonstrated excellence in 5 areas of expertise: Road, MTB, Shoes, Leisure, Hubs and of course the Workshop ...!

We're lucky at Keswick Bikes to have 2 highly skilled full-time technicians in Darren (Workshop Manager) and Jay. If you've broken it, chances are they can fix it for you!

Our Workshop is always busy especially at peak times such as school holidays. We advise you to book your bike into the Workshop in advance if possible to safe missing a few days riding.

Work Shop Charges

Hourly: £30 (plus parts)
Min Charge: £10 (plus parts)

Fit Chain £7.50 (plus parts)
Fit Tube £7.50 (plus tube)
Wheel Build £25 (plus parts)

All work must be paid for when being collected.
